Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkey has announced that it would launch flights from Birmingham to Istanbul from seven to ten a week. The flights would depart from Birmingham Airport.
The extra flights taking to the air on Monday, Thursday and Sunday should appeal not only to the passengers making their way to Turkey but also to those who seek onward connections to the Middle East, the Far East and Africa.
Turkish Airlines’ General Manager at Birmingham, Selim Ozturk commented, “We are exceptionally proud of what we have accomplished at Birmingham Airport since we commenced operating flights from Birmingham way back in 2008.
We have seen that there has been a tremendous increase in the number of passengers from the very beginning, which is why we have decided to enhance the flights.”
