With the successful operations in Washington DC that were started yesterday, Dubai-based Emirates has announced that it would launch daily flights to Algiers that will begin from March next year. The daily services to the African city would mark the evolution of Emirates’ growing network.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO, Emirates Airline and Group, said, “Algiers would be 22nd destination in the African continent that would provide a various travel options for the customers in Algeria. They would be able to take to the air non-stop to our hub based in Dubai.”
He further added, “The customers would effortlessly be able to connect the points across the continents such as the Middle East, Asian subcontinent, the Far East and Australasia.”
The non-stop service to the African country would begin with effect from 1st March, 2013. It will be leaving Dubai at 0845hrs and will be touching down in Algiers at 1330hrs.
