One of the leading airlines in the world, AirAsia has corroborated that it will move all its flights operations from Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Don Muang Airport, which is the old airport in Bangkok with effect from 1st October 2012.
The airline has takes a pledge in accommodating its enhancing fleet and to provide the travellers with complete satisfaction. All the flights to Bangkok would be redirected to the old airport.
AirAsia has taken a decision to transfer the flights to the old airport in spite of some concerns that were raised regarding transit times between the old airport and new Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Transit times can prove to be an utter confusion for those travellers who are arriving or departing on international flights with other airlines.
Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of AirAsia stated that we have taken a right decision to transport the flight services to Don Muang Airport and all the capabilities to do were meticulously taken into consideration keeping in mind the overall growth plan of AirAsia.
He further stated, “The overcrowded airport will certainly prove to be beneficial for AirAsia when it gives a lift to the fleet of Airbus A320s to a total of 48 and greets more travellers.
