Demand from both business as well as leisure passengers is spurring an increase in flight frequency by British Airways between London City Airport and the Isle of Man, located in the Irish Sea between the islands of Great Britain and Ireland. British Airways has announced that it will triple its flights from London City to Isle of Man from 30th March and also run one flight on Saturday and two on Sunday.
According to Luke Hayhoe, British Airway’s general manager commercial, there is a strong demand for a schedule suitable for both business and leisure trips to London. The schedule will allow customers to enjoy a full business day with conveniently timed flights direct to the heart of the London or connect easily with onward services. After a five year break on the Isle of Man route, BA resumed the services in May 2012. This summer British Airways will be running 30 percent more flights from London City.
