In an effort to cater to huge passenger traffic during the Hajj season, Qatar Airways is scheduled to operate additional flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The airline will launch additional flights from Tuesday, 8th October through Sunday, 20th October. The increased number of flights will be helpful to meet the increased demand from passengers who wish to travel between these destinations for tourism or business.
Due to pilgrim season airports of this region are expected to receive a surge in the number of pilgrims travelling to Mecca this year. To make their journey a hassle free experience, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has made effort to develop its facilities and processes. And allowing additional flights to Jeddah is part of this process.
The airline will add sixth destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ta’if, on 2nd October. Currently, Qatar Airways is running flights to Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, Qassim, and Riyadh.
