Malaysia Airlines has acquired of its first Airbus A380 taking a great sense of pride in becoming the eighth airline in the world to operate the largest and most eco-efficient airliner.
The airliner will be en route non-stop from London Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur International Airport thrice a week with effect from 02nd July 2012. The jumbo jet will be among a total of six A380s that are planned to be flown by the airline.
The airline has placed an order of six A380 airplanes, which are power-driven by Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines. The second airlines will be introduced for flights to Kuala Lumpur from London in August 2012 that will provide a non-stop A380 service to Kuala Lumpur on a daily basis.
Malaysian Airlines has taken a decision to emphasize more on the comfort of the passengers as far as the seats are concerned.
The passengers would also have a privilege to grab flights to Australia and flights to New Zealand so that they can derive the pleasure flying by superjumbo.
It decided not to include the shower equipped on the Emirates A380, the art gallery on board Air France’s or the plush private suites which are offered by Singapore Airlines.
