Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates will expand its network in India with the launch of daily flights to Jaipur from Abu Dhabi. The new flights will start operating from 1st April 2014 and bring the total number of Indian cities served by the airline to 10, with existing routes including Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kozhikode, New Delhi and Trivandrum.
Jaipur which is also referred as “Pink City” is the capital of Rajasthan province in Northern India is an important heritage site and is emerged as a flourishing tourist destination, reinforced by its inclusion in the world-renowned “Golden Triangle”, alongside the neighbouring cities of Delhi and Agra. Ethiahd Airways will operate daily flights to Jaiupur with Airbus A380 aircraft in two-class configuration, featuring 16 Pearl Business Class and 120 Coral Economy Class seats.

Daily flights to Jaipur will offer travellers across the world with access to one of India’s most exiting destinations, while those in India get benefitted by its seamless connections to Gulf region, Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America via Abu Dhabi hub. In addition to introducing new destinations in India, the airline has been increasing the frequency to its existing destinations in the country with plans to triple the number of seats on the prime Abu Dhabi-Mumbai and Abu Dhabi- New Delhi routes.
