Emirates has broadcasted that it would be starting flights to Phuket,Thailand. The airline would begin its flight services to Phuket in December.
Phuket, which is the largest island in Thailand and located in the Andaman Sea, will become the Dubai-based Emirates Airways second destination with effect from 10th December.
The Emirates flight will take to the air from Dubai at 12:45 and will touch down at Phuket International Airport at 21:55. The return flights will leave Phuket at 00:35 and will arrive at Dubai at 04:35.
Emirates Airways’ President, Tim Clark said, “Emirates is eagerly awaiting the launch of non-stop, daily flights to Phuket, which will be right in time for the holiday season. We have always had a strong connection with Thailand and have been operating flights to the capital of Thailand since 1990.”
He further added, “We are sure that Phuket will certainly prove to be a popular destination for our travellers, especially those flying from the UAE, Middle East and Europe.”
