United Airlines, the world’s largest airline in terms of number of destinations has touched down its first flight in Chicago for the long-delayed Boeing 787. The airline will be using the airliner at LAX for flights to Japan next year.
The airline landed its first domestic flight at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. It has become the first U.S. carrier to fly the composite-plastic-fuselage airliner.
United Airlines has announced that it will bring the Dreamliner to Los Angeles for direct flights to Narita, Japan. The flights are scheduled to fly with effect from 3rd January, 2013.
Even though the airliner can accommodate as many as 290 passengers, the capacity for these flights will have a maximum of 219 passengers.
