Air Arabia, the first low-cost carrier of Middle East and North Africa launches non-stop services to Antalya, a city on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Turkey. It is Turkey’s biggest international sea resort, located on the Turkish Riviera. From 29th July 2014, Air Arabia will offer three weekly flights to Antalya making it a convenient holiday destination for passengers travelling from UAE.
According to Adel Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia, Antalya is second Turkish destination and is one of the most visited cities in terms of international arrivals behind Paris and London. This route will provide a great opportunity for visitors to experience the rich culture and beauty of Turkish Riviera.
The launch of flights to Antalya complements Air Arabia’s seven weekly flights to the historic city of Istanbul, a route launched in 2006. In June 2009, the airline expanded Turkish operations to connect Istanbul to its Casablanca hub in Morocco and today the low-cost flight operates over 4 weekly non-stop services to Casablanca from Istanbul.
