Qatar Airways, the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar, has introduced its Boeing 787 Dreamliner service on the route from Doha to London Heathrow for the first time. It has now become the first airline to operate the flight services with the high-tech airliner to and from the UK.
The airline has been operating flights to Dubai from its hub and Kuwait and also allowing the cabin crew to get themselves acquainted with the aircraft. The airline has taken delivery of its first 787 four weeks ago.

The Qatar Airways flight that took off from Doha International Airport included an official delegation that had the Doha-based airlines Chief Executive Officer, Akbar Al Baker and VIP guest His Excellency Michael O’Neill, British Ambassador to Qatar.
