Dubai-based airline, Emirates Airways, which is the world’s largest airline by international passenger traffic, is on the verge of executing a plan so that it can have more aircrafts added to its huge fleet. It is looking ahead to enlarge its fleet once it accepts the order of 90 A380 aircraft from Airbus which would take 5 years for the delivery.
Emirates has 179 aircrafts in its fleet that include four freight aircraft and 23 A380s.
Executive Vice President for engineering and operations, Adel Al Redha said, “We are loaded with more potential to accept more aircraft and are working on the same as stated in an interview that was held at an airshow at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport.
He further commented that it largely depends on airport capacities, especially the capacity in Dubai airport.
