Passengers flying on Dubai-Dakar route have a reason to cheer as Emirates, one of the leading airlines in the world has introduced Airbus 340-300 aircraft to serve flights to Dakar from 31 March 2013.
Previously, the flights on this route were serviced by an Airbus 330-200. The introduction of new aircraft will improve the passenger capacity by 16%.
The increase in seat capacity will help meet the increasing demands of passengers, said a release by airline.
The newly introduced aircraft has 260 seats that include 11 seats in First Class, 42 seats in Business Class and 209 seats in Economy Class.
Emirates’ new aircraft has ice entertainment system in all the classes that enables passengers to select from hundreds of channels on-demand that include movies, TV programmes, games, audio books and music from around the world. Food is another speciality of Emirates and passengers can order delicacies from an array of options.
