Delta Airlines will add new nonstop seasonal flights to Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado, United States with daily flights from Atlanta and Saturday -only flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul , effective from 21st December 2013. Aspen/Snowmass is one of the top skiing destinations in the world, offering more than 5,000 acres of snow-covered terrain as well as world-class lodging, dining, nightlife and arts.
With its new service, Delta is the only airline to offer daily nonstop service to Aspen/ Snowmass from the Southeastern U.S. combined with Saturday-only service from Minneapolis -St. Paul, the flight will provide convenient connecting opportunities through two of the world’s largest hubs.
According to Bob Cortelyou, Delta Senior Vice President, Delta is committed to building a network that meets diverse travel needs of customers and the new service provided by Delta allows customers to conveniently experience many winter sports and cultural activities that Aspen/Snowmass has to offer. The new service will be operated by Delta Connection Carrier, SkyWest Airlines, using a two -class 65 seats CRJ-700, featuring nine First Class seats and eight Economy Comforts seats and can access to in-flight Wi-Fi as Delta operates the largest Wi-Fi equipped fleet in the world.
