The largest commercial airline of West and Central Africa, Arik Air has launched scheduled flights to Douala. The airline known as the African largest domestic airline has commenced its flight operations that would not only bring unique benefits to its organization but also to the country.
Douala is known as a commercial capital would give a boost to better communication and family vacation.
The first commercial flight on the new route of Douala would commence on 30th August, 2012 and would operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The significance of Douala as the Cameroon’s commercial capital and home to the nation’s biggest port will crucially make the airline create a link to the Lagos, which is one of the commercial capitals of Nigeria.
Arik Air’s Executive President and Managing Director, Chris Ndulue expressed his gladness on the new route that has been invented between Lagos and Douala and also stated that the new route is the first international implementation.
