Air China, the flag carrier of China, is contemplating to launch daily flights to Mumbai. The airline is already flying to Indian financial capital four times a week. With the increase in services, the passengers flying on this network will have better options.
Presently, the airline is flying to three Indian destinations; Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, with 11 flights a week. Air China is also looking forward to bump up the frequency of flights on Bengaluru-Chendu route four times a week. The airline is looking to increase the number of flights keeping in view the increased passenger traffic on this route.
The bilateral rights between India and China permits increased connectivity between the two countries. But airline will conduct an intensive market research before increasing the number of flights.
As the route is dominated by business travellers, the additions of new flights are sure to be welcomed with warmth. The increased frequency will also give a boost to the tourism and business of both these destinations.
