Finnair and Malaysia Airlines have together marked a codeshare agreement, which will further strengthen the access to the Kuala Lumpur-based airlines hubs in Finnish capital and Kuala Lumpur.
With this new agreement between the two airlines, the Finnair’s flight code will be carried on the airlines’ flights to Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong. Similarly, Malaysia Airlines’ flight code will be used on selected services between the Finnish capital and London, Paris, Frankfurt and the Dutch capital of Amsterdam.
Geoff Stone, Finnair Country Sales Manager Australia & New Zealand commented, “We at Finnair are extremely pleased with the news that Malaysia Airlines is getting associated with both oneworld and with our code share announcements.”
Malaysian Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Government & International Affairs, Mr Germal Singh stated, “We can certainly expand in the European continent through this partnership without operating our own flights between Malaysia and the Scandinavian area.”
