Air connectivity between Austria and Iran is set to be restored by March 12, 2014. A senior official from Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization has confirmed this news.
The services between Iran and Austria have been suspended since the beginning of 2013 due to the Austrian airline’s revenue problems.
As per an agreement between the flag carriers of the two countries five flights will be operated between Tehran and Vienna a week.
The flights will be very beneficial for business and leisure travellers from both countries.
As Austria is home to several tourists destinations the launch of flights will provide a boost to Austria tourism.
