Great Britain is exactly that, great. It
has so many different places and attractions to visit, it’s a crime we don’t
visit more of them on a regular basis. Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of history in
the heart of the countryside, rummaging through houses that belonged to the
rich and famous? There’s nothing better then spending the day out and about enjoying
some of the most magical places in the UK.
Take
a Trip to London Town
First up, is London, and what a city to
explore! There’s never enough time in the day to visit
every part of London – being such a big place, filled with various attractions
and places for tourists to visit, many hours are lost in enjoyment! So one of
the best ways I like to see London, if from the air! And I don’t mean a plane,
I mean taking a balloon ride over London.
They offer some of the most stunning views
of the city – whether at sunrise when the city is calm and tranquil, or at
sunset when the city bursts into life and thousands of colourful lights. Taking
a balloon ride over London is magical, but floating high over the great British
countryside is a sight that should not be missed. Try both and see how the
bustling city turns into another world - a beautiful calming paradise floating
over the countryside!

Find
Edinburgh’s Hot Spots
Edinburgh is a city full of secrets and
magical places. My favourite place to visit is Arthur’s Seat that sits atop Hollywood
Park looking down onto the city. It’s a great place to spend the day with
family, climbing the peak and rewarding yourself with a magnificent view. Edinburgh
is also famous for it’s whimsical Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This is a treat
for all comedy and art lovers, with shows playing throughout the day there’s
always something for everyone!
Spend
a Day at the Sea
Britain has many coastal towns with perfect
beaches and scrumptious fish and chips! But none quite so famous as Blackpool
Pleasure Beach. Its pier is full of fun and thrilling rides - a thrill seekers
paradise! If you’re not up for the scary rides, there are plenty of amusements,
games and shows to keep you entertained, not forgetting the iconic donkey rides
along the beach.

Visit
the Mystical and Mysterious
Britain is home to some of the most amazing
but also rather mysterious places. Stonehenge for example is a wondrous sight
for visitors to behold, but the history of it is still rather unknown.
Nevertheless thousands of people flock to the remains every year to learn more
about them and try to discover any of the secrets they may have. I like nothing
more then spending a summer’s day exploring the remains with my family,
watching the sunset over the 5000-year-old monument.
These are just a few of my favourite sites
to visit in Great Britain, but there are so many other things to do and lots of
other places to see. What are you favourite tourist sites and how did you find
them?
