Eid -Ul -Fitr:- Ramadan , the ninth month is one of the most precious months in Islamic calendar . Eid-Ul-Azha:-It is another important religious festival of Muslims which falls on 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah and lasts for four days. It is a time for those planning to perform their pilgrimage to Mecca to start preparations for their journey. Animals like sheep, goat and camel are sacrificed especially by those who have already performed the Hajj. It is largest and best known festival in Afghanistan, particularly in Mazar-E- Sharif where it is called Gul-E-Sorkh. During the celebrations sumptuous meals are prepared, Buzkashi matches are held. People play music and dance and farmers express their joy for the produce.
